The Massachusetts Commission on End-of-Life Care is taking steps to make it easier for people to find the information that can help them confront end-of-life issues. On April 9, 2002 the Commission launched a new Web site. The Web site includes an on-line resource guide to educate and link individuals, their families, caregivers and health care professionals with the end of life resources and services that currently exist in their local communities to assist people of all ages with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Further, it promotes better planning for end of life care and encourages conversations about end of life decision-making. Though the site is designed to highlight Massachusetts resources the links to national organizations are useful for anyone who needs one-stop access to national organizations that can help with end-of-life issues.Life Transitions: Terminal Illness
