HealthFinder --a gateway consumer health and human services information web site from the United States government. Includes access to toll-free numbers, information clearinghouses, support and self-help groups as well as publications.

The National Institute on Aging --part of the NIH; produces science-based educational materials on a wide range of topics related to health and aging for professionals and the general public.

National Stroke Association -- NSA's mission is to reduce the incidence and impact of this life-threatening medical condition...to save lives, improve quality of care and increase patient outcomes. NSA is the only national non-profit organization in the United States devoting 100 percent of its resources to stroke through a variety of innovative and high impact programs.  Their website provides valuable information and resources.

National Women's Health Information Center

The National Women's Health Resource Center (NWHRC) -- the national clearinghouse for information and resources about women's health.  The primary goal is to educate healthcare consumers and empower them to make intelligent decisions by providing easy-to-understand and easy-to-reach information and services.

NetWellness --Consumer health information service developed by University of Cincinnati Medical Center in collaboration with Case Western Reserve and Ohio State University

Physical Therapy Association: Geriatric Care --Exercises and information on healthcare issues for older individuals.

Physician Select --maintained by the American Medical Association; provides the name, address, education, specialty, and board certification of most U.S. doctors.

RxList --a directory of brand name and generic drugs and their side effects.

Women's Health America Group --national organization dedicated to providing women with reliable, up-to-date health information to serve complex needs.

Women's Health Project -- an initiative of the National Health Sciences Consortium, a group of nine top science institutions across the country.  The consortium uses its unique capacity to complete the project of developing an educational exhibit, public programming, and instructional materials with the goal of making science and research related to women accessible and engaging for the public.
